Chicken Charcoal at Eat and Drink in Dubai

Chicken Charcoal

Sunday night after my partner and i went to church, we decided to have our dinner to the nearest restaurant in Oud Metha, usually our Sunday routine was to go to church and grab some snacks or Shawarma on our way home.

But last night we decided to have something different, So we decided to get an Indian food, then we came across to Eat and Drink an Indian Restaurant, since their location is on our way home.

They are serving different kinds of cuisines like Arabic, Indian and Chinese Dishes, they are also serving fresh juices and Shawarma.

We noticed that there were lots of kabayan or filipinos on the restaurant even though they are not serving filipino dishes and also there was a Filipino Restaurant on the other side.It was really intriguing.

So we took a seat and look on their menu, We were searching for a single affordable meal that we can share and be both satisfied, since we are in a tight budget.

Then we came up to get a Half-Chicken Charcoal or Chicken Tikka, It is an Indian Cuisine that basically cooked or grilled on charcoal.

It comes with some fresh salads, garlic paste, hummus (mashed chickpeas), kubus or pita (flatbread), a bottled water and two (2) bowls of mutton soup.

Even though we've waited for a couple of Minutes, we were really satisfied with the taste of their Chicken Charcoal, it was tender, tasty and juicy and they are serving it really hot or freshly cocked.

But we were also been very happy and surprised with their Mutton Soup, there were no unwanted smell, the meat was very tender, seams like it was cooked for a very long time, you can feel the meat melting on your mouth, the taste was awesome, and the best part was it is only a complementary dish. that means it is for free and they are giving two (2) bowls of it.

You can also get a separate bowl of Mutton Soup if you are not planning to get any meal, it only cost Five (5) AED.

Our total meal cost was only 31 AED.

- Half Chicken Charcoal with "2 bowls" of mutton soup, hummus, kubus, garlic paste, fresh salad and a bottle of water - 25 AED
- 2 cups of Tea - 2 AED
- Cola - 4 AED

You can visit their web site at https://eatanddrinkgroup.com/

It was really a very affordable and good meal. I'm looking forward to try their other menu.
